"I love it... the noise... the buzz in our team... the future."  This is a quote coming from Ivan Green, the station manager of 99.9 Live FM

The reason, is that work has begun on the redevelopment of 99.9 Live FM’s facility in Garbutt, to provide a new home for SU Qld and MMM Australia.

The amazing team from MMM Australia, an international missionary organisation which supports Christian organisations by providing building, maintenance and other practical services, began last week by gutting a section of the existing warehouse, in preparation for the real work to begin.

According to Ivan Green this is such an exciting project for our city.

"Not only will it give a home to SU Qld and MMM Australia.  It will also be an amazing opportunity for three significant Christian organisations to cultivate community as they operate from one location."

Work on the project is expected to continue throughout August and September.  Businesses and individuals are being encouraged to donate much needed materials and time as a way of expressing their support for SU Qld's school chaplains and the important role 99.9 Live FM plays in delivering safe radio to families across North Queensland.
